Things to Do in Alanson

Let the River
Guide You

Kayaking
The Crooked River aptly ebbs and flows directly behind our property, allowing you to kayak along the calm waters either north to Burt Lake or south to Crooked Lake, each providing gorgeous natural views. (Kayaks available to our guests.)

Fish Pond
Unwind and reset by our fish pond, and be sure to say hello to all the fine fellows we have swimming about in the water!

Snowmobile Rentals
Making a winter trip to Crooked River Lodge? Snowmobiling is one of the most popular things to do in Alanson come winter, with miles of trails to shred along.

The Inland Waterway
The expansive Inland Waterway connects multiple larger bodies of water together, such as Crooked, Burt, Douglas, Pickerel, and Mullet Lakes.

Hiking & Biking
Our nature trails double as perfect routes to hike or bike, either through shaded woods, lush fields, or with snowshoes in the winter (available to our lodging guests).

Ski & Snowshoe
Nub’s Nob Ski Resort sits just minutes from us. Prefer cross-country? Glide through miles of scenic trails just a short drive away. If a slower pace is more your style, borrow a pair of our complimentary snowshoes and explore the snow-covered beauty of our property.
